Our client in the ICT sector is seeking to recruit an Assistant Software Manager who has a blend of Technical expertise, Leadership skills and Project Management capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Manage, motivate and mentor teams of IT professionals.
Ensure high quality Software delivery while remaining within committed schedules.
Capability to value and promote the Company's software services and solutions.
Ensure timely project delivery while adhering to software development methodologies and best practices.
High standard project proposal submission to secure new projects.

what you need to know

Profiles:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, or related field.
A Master degree or an MBA will be advantageous.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Experience in liaising with customers and conduct presentations/meetings.
Project Management Certifications like PMP ( Project Management Professional) or Agile certifications would be beneficial.
Strong technical background and expertise in software development, combined with effective leadership skills.
In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Python Java and JavaScript would constitute an advantage.
Awareness in emerging technologies and trends in SW development.
Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
