Our client in the shipping sector is seeking to recruit a motivated and experienced Team Leader to manage and support the Ship Agency team. This role is focused on staff supervision, client communication and vessel operations.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage daily activities of the ship agency team.
Respond to client, principal, and internal queries in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor team performance and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Provide guidance and support to team members.
Handle escalated issues and ensure proper resolution.
Coordinate workload distribution within the team.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and service standards.
what you need to know
Profile:
Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in ship agency.
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
Strong people-management and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office and shipping/agency systems.
Fluent in English.
