Our client, a well-established company, providing business solutions to clients worldwide, is seeking to recruit experienced candidate for the post of Head of Trading.

The Head of Trading will assist the Chief Operating Officer and Portfolio Manager in preparing presentations for prospective clients during the client acquisition process, providing insights on local and global markets and products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the trading team and organise/supervise the work of traders across local and international markets.
• Drive and facilitate the acquisition of new clients, including referrals from existing clients and networks.
• Review, nurture, and grow the portfolio of existing local and international clients by increasing trading activity and revenues per client for both local and global desks, and cross-sell other services including local and international trading, investment advisory services, funds distribution, and unlisted securities.
• Track and analyse factors affecting price movements, such as trade policies, political developments, and supply and demand changes.
• Attend to client queries and advise on share transfers, successions, donations, portfolio reorganisation, and liaise with the operations team accordingly.

PROFILE:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with a dedicated trading platform is a definite advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and an inquisitive nature.
• IT proficiency and strong knowledge of IT systems.
• Proven ability to manage a team and a highly results-driven mindset.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in oral and written English and French.
