Our client, a technology solutions provider, in the Indian Ocean Islands and in East Africa is seeking to recruit a dynamic Accounts Clerk. The ideal candidate should have a real interest in working in Technology.

Responsibilities:

Book keeping of the daily transactions on the computerised accounting system.
Maintain the accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
Prepare daily cash flow positions.
Prepare payment weekly instructions.
Reconcile monthly accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
Reconcile monthly bank statements.
Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly tax returns.
Liaise and handle queries from business units, suppliers and customers.
Maintain both physical and digital files as well as other administrative tasks which may be required.

what you need to know

Profile:

Partly Qualified ACCA or equivalent qualification.
At least 1 year experience in similar position would be an advantage.
Highly motivated, proactive, and dynamic person.
Self-starter, willing to take responsibilities and able to work under pressure.
Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Good inter-personal skills and team spirit.
Discipline and committed in meeting deadlines.
Strong analytical skills and having an eye for detail.
