Our client in the FMCG sector is seeking to recruit an Assistant General Manager who will support the daily business operations under the General Manager's supervision. Ensuring that the team delivers the required results with the highest quality and standards.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the General Manager in business planning and monitoring.
Providing support in all areas of the Company.
Accountable for the performance of the business operations.
Ensuring that the organization complies with all laws and regulations regarding labour practices, environmental issues, human resources issues, and other concerns.
Ensure that employees follow the Company standards, procedures and policies.
Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes.
Evaluate operational and financial performance.
Acting as liaison between the organization and community leaders.
Adhere to Company standards for excellence and quality.
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion.
Recruit and lead high-performing employees to achieve objectives for sales, profitability, and market share.
Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively.
Manage financial, budgets, business and administration matters.
Submit reports, provide recommendations and identify business opportunities.
Share best practices to increase revenue and profitability.

Profiles:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business management or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in business administration or similar in the FMCG industry.
Strong decision making ability.
Nurture positive working relationship with staff.
Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable.
Strong work knowledge of operational procedures.
Ability to work under pressure.
High values and excellent leadership.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to deliver constructive criticism.
