Our client is seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive who will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The incumber will be responsible for the training of the company and organizational support services.
Responsible for strategic planning, research and development of business opportunities.
Develop the company's training arm, focusing on financial sustainability, market requirements and customer satisfaction.
Build and manage long-term relationships with new and existing customers and other key stakeholders such as local and foreign facilitators, partner institutions and regulators.
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
Work with the Membership Development Executive to identify potential clients, arrange business meetings and manage the delivery of benefits to individual members, founders and patrons.
Work with the Marketing and Communications Executive to develop the right pitch for the products and services to be marketed to existing or prospective clients.
Work with the CEO or any other consultants in doing board evaluations, corporate governance assessments and any other organizational support services.
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
what you need to know
Bachelor degree with 3 - 5 years of experience in the field.
Knowledge of business development/marketing and training administration.
Knowledge of Corporate Governance/Directors duties and responsibilities would be an advantage.
Excellent English and French language skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
Highly IT literate (Microsoft Office/CRM/social networks/digital marketing).
Valid driving licence.
Dynamic personality with high level of initiative and with absolute integrity.
