Our client is seeking to recruit a Client Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the preparation and review of client accounts in accordance with IFRS/IAS standards.
Prepare and file financial statements, reports, and other compliance documents for clients in a timely and accurate manner.
Ability to lead a team.
Liaise with clients to gather financial data, answer queries, and provide expert accounting advice.
Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant domestic income tax legislation.
Ensure effective internal controls and accounting practices are adhered to.
Work closely with other teams to meet deadlines, ensuring the timely delivery of client reports.
Assist clients with fund accounting, including the calculation of net asset values (NAV), performance fees, and reconciliations.
Participate in audits and tax returns preparation.
Continuously evaluate processes to identify improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.

what you need to know

Profile:

Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent).
A minimum of 5 years' experience working with an audit firm and/or a management company.
Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS standards.
Previous experience in fund accounting and a solid understanding of domestic income tax legislation is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
