Our client in the management sector is seeking to recruit a Compliance Associate who will report to the Team Leader.


Providing support in liaising with regulators.
Supporting preparation for independent AML/CFT audits.
Reviewing and updating CDD documents on investors, investees, clients, employees, etc.
Preparation of Client Risk Assessments and Business Risk Assessments.
Assisting Team Leader with maintenance of records and registers.
Onboarding clients which will include reviewing CDD, Client Acceptance reviews, etc.
Assisting Compliance Officer with updating and reviewing manuals & files of the Company and its clients.
Providing and interpreting legal information regarding Company's business.
Administering Company's Internal Control Management system.
Overseeing corrective actions for any compliance violations identified during reviews and internal audits.
Assist in producing and submitting periodic compliance, and AML reports to the company's Officers for the regulator.
Preparation and submission of periodic reports for the company.
Working on Risk rating, risk registers and related background screening.
Assisting Compliance Officer with preparation of compliance reports and any other tasks as requested.
Execution of daily tasks.
Setting up client accounts & preparing appropriate documentation to assist senior team members.
Maintain an record of all company documentation and ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are followed.
Prepare documents to be despatched to clients and service providers alike
Maintaining and updating compliance files.
Undertaking additional duties to meet Company's needs.
Preparation of corporate documents when necessary.
Support the senior executives in their role.

what you need to know


University graduate in Law, any additional compliance related certificates or studies would be an advantage.
At least 2 years experience in AML compliance, Tax planning, Company Law Corporate or Regulatory Capacity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong drafting skills with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Confident and adaptable with excellent report writing skills.
IT Literate.
Organised person with the ability to work without supervision.
Knowledge of different jurisdictions.
