Our client in the ICT sector is seeking to recruit a dynamic ESG Manager.
Responsibilities:
ESG Strategy:
Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring the company's ESG strategy, goals, and initiatives to promote sustainable practices and responsible business conduct.
Reporting and Compliance: Help prepare ESG reports, disclosures, and sustainability metrics in line with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Stay updated on emerging trends and changes in ESG reporting requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, investors, clients, and community partners, to foster relationships, address concerns, and promote ESG awareness and engagement.
ESG Policies and Guidelines:
Support the development and maintenance of ESG policies, guidelines, and procedures. Ensure alignment with international frameworks and industry benchmarks.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Collect, analyze, and interpret ESG-related data, including energy consumption, waste management, diversity metrics, and social impact indicators. Identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.
Employee Education and Training:
Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on ESG principles, practices, and their role in contributing to the company's sustainability goals.
Internal ESG Programs:
Assist in implementing internal initiatives, such as recycling programs, energy conservation measures, employee well-being programs, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Risk Assessment:
Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of ESG-related risks and opportunities. Provide recommendations for improvement and risk mitigation strategies.
Continuous Improvement:
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ESG initiatives, conduct regular audits, and recommend improvements to enhance sustainability performance.
ESG Communication:
Contribute to the development of internal and external ESG communication materials, including sustainability reports, website content, social media posts, and press releases together with company corporate communications.
what you need to know
Profile:
Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, sustainability, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Strong knowledge and understanding of ESG principles, frameworks (e.g., Global Reporting Initiative, SASB, TCFD), and industry standards.
Familiarity with IT industry practices and trends, particularly in relation to sustainable technology and responsible data management.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present ESG data effectively.
Strong communication skills to engage and educate employees and stakeholders about ESG topics.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence change across the organization.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Familiarity with ESG reporting platforms and software is a plus.
A passion for sustainability, social responsibility, and driving positive change within organizations.
