Our client, is one of the oldest trading companies in Mauritius and has pioneered major sectors of the economy, such as retail, technology and fertilisers manufacturing. The company is seeking to recruit a Finance Business Partner.
Prepare and submit financial reports according to Group deadlines, meet controllership and compliance.
Report on the financial performance of the companies of the Cluster/Division and of the related departments, establish efficient monthly management reporting.
Maintain a strong internal control environment.
Ensure accurate and insightful analysis of financial performance, and projections to enable effective decision making at both operational and strategic level.
Deploy processes and Financial Planning & Analysis tools to facilitate financial planning & analysis across the Cluster/Division (monthly performance analysis, monthly rolling forecast (S&OP integration process), Annual Operating Plan (AOP)/budget.
Collaborate with the Managing Director to facilitate the understanding of key business and financial dynamics of the Group Companies, including product portfolio optimization, growth opportunities, new product initiatives and investments, productivity analysis, margin improvement, business trend analysis, and regional expansion.
Manage multiple corporate projects, including Companies business turnaround, logistics optimization, industrial project development.
Manage the debt collection activities, cash flow forecast and monitoring, ensure adequate funding.
what you need to know
Certification – Member of ACCA or FCCA.
A Master’s Degree in Finance and in any related management field would be an advantage.
A minimum of 10 years’ working experience in a similar role, including experience at management level.
Work experience in the Manufacturing and Trading business would constitute an advantage.
Technical Knowledge and Skills:

Business results-oriented, with the ability to build effective working relationships and work under pressure.
