Our client, an international growth company with a strong and ambitious culture is seeking to recruit a General Manager Production. The incumbent will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for the daily management of the production with the aim to develop, produce, market, and sell the world's best formal wear to niche customers.
Responsibilities:
Management of all production systems from cutting to the finished product, including packing according to the company quality standards.
Manage the production plan to achieve on time deliveries according to the specified quality standard, production manual and PDM.
Visible management and motivation of more than 350 employees with a planned increase to 500 employees in the coming years.
Training and development of all workers and medium production management colleagues.
Lead and expand the continuous improvement program.
Report on key figures to corporate C-level management.
Follow up on performance targets and initiate corrective actions when needed.
Hold annual staff appraisals.
Ensure productivity, high performance and employee motivation, cost efficiency and high quality in the finished goods.
Ensure that all the employees work in a good and safe work environment.
Ensure that there are always compliant with the current, global standards for social responsibility.
what you need to know
Qualifications & Experience:
BSc in Manufacturing OR any equivalent qualifications acceptable to the Remco.
10 years solid experience, including 5 years at Senior Management level.
Documented management skills and a proven success record from running a major garment production.
Experience in formal wear is preferred or have experience from the production of related woven products such as jackets, and trousers.
Working experience in a high-end production company would be a strong advantage.
A solid understanding of garment production and the complexity of all stages of garment production.
Sound management experience and similar relevant technical capabilities.

Work systematically and persistently with strong morals and ethics.
Driven and have experience working interculturally with great success.
Curious and eager to learn about the newest technologies.
Strong communicator across all levels.
Fluent in English, orally and in writing.
Mastering French and Hindi would be an advantage.
