Our client in the Agro Industry is seeking to recruit a Group Human Resources Manager who will report to the Chief Executive Officer. The incumbent will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of the HR function in a Group of companies, including talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management and organisational culture.
Work with other members of the department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for company employees.
Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations.
Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records.
Creating employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities.
Evaluating employee performance and appraising their pay scale accordingly.
Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances.

what you need to know

Profile:

Degree in HR or any other related qualification.
At least 10 years' experience in Human Resources.
Proficiency of Microsoft tools.
In depth knowledge of Mauritian labour laws and procedures.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to promote a positive workplace culture.
