Our client is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Head of Human Capital who shall oversee all HC Operations and drive the Human Capital Strategy within the cluster, both locally and internationally. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the job incumbent shall be responsible for providing strategic and operational support to the cluster, in line with their respective business goals, while ensuring alignment to the Human Capital Group strategy.


Responsible for entire Employee Life Cycle such as Attract, Recruit, Onboard, Retain, Develop and Offboard.
Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to create and drive value added initiatives and solutions in order to meet the Human Capital strategy.
Effectively implement and manage a fully integrated HCMS for the cluster at Company Level and maintain Company configurations and contents for various Modules up to date to best meet current and future strategic HC delivery.
Leverage technology to increase efficiency, drive HC & Business value.
Manage Compensation by ensuring ongoing best practices as well as alignment of compensation model to market trends.
Work closely with Management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, nurture an employee oriented high-performance culture and drive employee retention.
Ensure proper talent management and succession planning are in place.
Identify learning and development priorities for business units and ensure competency gaps are addressed.
Maintain sound Industrial Relations by managing properly all industrial relations issues.
Analyse trends and present Human Capital metrics to develop solutions, initiatives and policies.
Provide daily Human Capital guidance as and when required.
Lead and manage the HC team to ensure operational effectiveness and an enhanced employee experience.

what you need to know


Degree in Human Resource Management or any other equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years experience with a track record of developing and implementing strategic business and HR objectives.
Experience in dealing in the African market will constitute an advantage.
Technologically savvy.
Hands-on Knowledge of Employment laws with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills.
Strong team player working with cross functional teams.
Result oriented with ability to maintain high standard of service level.
