Our client in the Hospitality and Leisure sector is seeking to recruit a Head of Sales & Marketing Manager who will be the company's main commercial point of contact and will play a key role in the coordinating and implementing all sales, marketing, public relations and communication strategies.

The incumbent will be responsible to maximise business opportunities through appropriate commercial initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement short and long-term goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures to achieve sales and marketing targets.
Maximise the visibility and reputation of the company by representing at various business meetings and trade fairs to promote the company.
Make recommendations and develop policies and procedures to enhance marketing, communication, public relations and sales operations.
Ensure that the Sales & Marketing plans are implemented, monitored and effective.
Contribute to the maximisation of sales opportunities through adequate sales promotions and other appropriate commercial initiatives.
Actively develop strategic media relations for comprehensive coverage of marketing initiatives and events of the company.
Provide feedback to the General Manager for the company's Sales performance through reliable reports and forecasts.
Maintain a constant and proactive relationship with the Corporate Sales & Marketing Team to drive business opportunities for the company.
Liaise with the Corporate Sales & Marketing team for the implementation of strategies.
Identify and develop integrated PR and social media property experience programs that capitalise on unique and newsworthy stories as well as leveraging opportunities as they arise.
Promote and enhance the image of the company through the company’s website, brochures, advertising campaigns, events and on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

what you need to know

Profile
Tertiary education at Degree Level in Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Tourism from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications.
Postgraduate qualifications in Sales, Marketing and/or Business Administration would be an advantage.
A minimum of 3 years of working experience in a similar position.
International working experience with well-known hospitality brands.
Extensive prior working experience with High-End Tour Operators.
High levels of integrity and confidentiality.
Passionate about service.
Creative and innovative.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Excellent commercial acumen.
Excellent knowledge in strategic planning, execution, negotiation and management.
Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns and successful public relations activities.
Excellent knowledge of structuring quota goals and revenue expectations.
Strong interpersonal, organisational, time management and analytical skills.
Excellent time and task management skills to meet set KPIs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French languages. A third language will be a definite advantage.
Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends as well as on public holidays.
Readiness to act as Duty Manager.
A clean certificate of character is a must.
