Our client is seeking to recruit a Health Care Assistant who will support healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient health, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients. The Health Care Assistant will work closely with nursing staff and other healthcare providers to deliver compassionate and efficient care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings.

Responsibilities:

Monitor patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, and report any changes to the nursing staff.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Support nursing staff during medical procedures and examinations.
Prepare patients for treatments and ensure they are comfortable before, during, and after procedures.
Follow infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
Assist in maintaining hygiene standards by cleaning and disinfecting patient areas, equipment, and bedding.
Ensure that all patient care activities are carried out in compliance with healthcare regulations and safety guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of patient care, including documentation of observations, activities, and any incidents.
Report any concerns regarding patient health, safety, or well-being to the supervising nurse promptly.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education programs as required.
