Our client in the insurance sector is seeking to recruit for the position of Insurance Officers for the Marine Department.
Responsibilities:
Process, modify and update insurance policies.
Communicate and follow up with customers (client facing) and intermediaries.
Attend to internal administrative tasks and queries as may be required.
Participate in producing reports to management and various stakeholders.
Handle hull and cargo claims.
Writing quotes and negotiating the terms with company’s stakeholders.
what you need to know
Profiles:
Minimum Higher School Certificate.
Certificate/Diploma in Insurance will be an advantage.
At least 2 year experience in the Insurance Sector
Assume a positive team role and contribute to the ‘family’ spirit of the department.
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
Good written and oral skills in English and French.
Organised, detail oriented and motivated self-starter.
Be conversant with MS Office Tools.
