Our client, Warwyck Private Bank Ltd (WPBL) is currently seeking to recruit a talented and experienced candidate for the position of IT & Information Security Manager.

Located in Phoenix, Warwyck Private Bank Ltd (WPBL) is ideally situated and possesses some unique features proposing Highly innovative products. Equipped with very innovative state-of-the-art amenities and interesting IT supporting tools, Warwyck is further consolidating and developing its presence in the Wealth Management and Private Banking business.

The Bank retained its ISO 27001 certification in 2019, which reinforces the Bank’s information security protocol and best practices. It reiterates the Bank’s systematic approach and commitment to maintaining highest levels of protection of client and other confidential information. The ISO 27001 certification has undoubtedly raised the standard of the Bank from within and will ultimately have a positive incidence on the overall quality of service and image. Comprising of over 30 employees, the Bank considers its employees as it’s valuable asset and in line with its expansion strategy, WPBL is looking out for key talents for the post of IT & INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGER in the IT department which consist of 3 staffs.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Monitor performance of information technology systems, to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
Help define IT infrastructure strategy, including outsourcing policy, architecture and processes.
Oversee and determine timeframes for major IT projects including systems updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
Analyse Business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organisation to develop solutions for IT needs.
Assess Vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.
Manage and report on allocation of IT budget.
Provide guidance and direction to IT team members.

Job Responsibilities in Addition to Security:

Maintain the ISO 27001 certification.
Protect computer assets by developing security strategies; directing system control development and access management, monitoring, control, and evaluation.
Assess the organisation's security measures, such as firewalls, anti-virus software and passwords, to identify any weak points that might make information systems vulnerable to attack.
Achieve system security operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
Establish system safeguards by directing disaster preparedness development and conducting preparedness tests.
Develop security awareness during orientation and training program.


what you need to know

Job Requirements:

Graduated in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information System, or a related qualification acceptable by the Bank.
At least 8 years of cumulated experience with 3 years in Management position in:
- Working in IT Operations (in Financial institution with regulatory constraints is plus);
- Leading and managing IT projects;
- Rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies;
- Strong communication skills with the abilities to inspire, develop and motivate teams;
- Excellent project management and decision-making skills;
- Ability to demonstrate strategic, execution capabilities & business acumen.

Technical Skills:

Excellent working knowledge of:
- Networking and Information Security
- Core Banking Systems, SWIFT
- SQL reporting (any of the 2, both is a plus)
- SQL Server
- Oracle
- Operating systems (any of the 2, both is a plus)
- Windows
- Unix
