Our client, a longest standing and leading financial institution in Mauritius, is seeking to recruit a Product Coordinator to implement, and coordinate all the Global Trade Solutions (GTS) Projects, Initiatives, Digitalisation strategies and Product developments, supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives & business improvements.
Responsibilities:
Work with relevant stakeholders to identify and implement processes streamlining/ automations needs to satisfy the customer and continuously improve customer service.
Collaborate with the Product Leaders and other relevant stakeholders to help assess client need, identify, and implement adapted solutions for clients while facilitation the change management.
Maintain excellent collaborative relationships with the whole CIB team, to continuously have SBU goal congruence and coherence and to better anticipate arising business needs.
Undertake ad hoc projects as requested by the Senior Product Leader and ensure that they are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.
Work with Product teams to implement new products and enhance existing product offering as required from time to time and ensure products are tailored for them and delivered efficiently and in a timely manner.
Prepare product training & presentations for internal and external clients and marketing materials for client pitch (in conjunction with the Product and Marketing area).
Work with the Senior Product Leader on GTS initiatives & assist the respective working groups/agile groups.
Track and report on challenge, impacts and successes of GTS initiatives and assist to ensure progress stays on schedule.
Comply with all relevant laws, codes, rules, regulations, procedures, and standards of best working practice to minimise financial loss and protect the good name and reputation of the Group.
Keep abreast of best practices and updates in the sector and share same with team members towards the building of a learning organisation.
Support an open culture by ensuring a constant flow of multi-directional communication for knowledge sharing.
Live and display the company brand and values in all daily activities, to uphold and further strengthen the company brand internally and externally.
Keep abreast of the various Trade Finance instruments & techniques to sustain high productivity.
Be familiar with transaction banking regulations (e.g. FATF, FX Global Code, Anti Money Laundering, MiFID).
what you need to know
Profiles:
BSC in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years experience in Financial Services with proven experience in Trade Finance, dealing with corporate clients.
Knowledge of IT - Ms Office Tools.
Project Management skills.
Presentation skills.
Knowledge of trade products.
Knowledge of Trade related ICC rules and regulations.
