Our client, a longest standing and leading financial institution in Mauritius, is seeking to recruit a Product Leader who will provide technical expertise on Global Trade Solutions offering to the relationship resources whilst supervising & executing all the GTS Projects, Initiatives, Digitalization strategies and Product developments.
Responsibilities:
Maintain strong working relationship with all stakeholders to provide excellent quality service to our customers.
Handle promptly queries to provide high standard of service to stakeholders.
Plan and organize the work sessions to achieve respective goals while maintaining proper minutes of meetings.
Support & assist the sales, coverage team & Senior Product Leader as and when required in terms of presentation, client visits & assessment.
Work on agile basis on GTS key initiatives and ensure execution of GTS strategies.
Review business case for appeal to respective committees or forum & ensure that all elements have been taken onboard to sustain our requests.
Identify and provide adequate training and coaching on TF technicalities to team to foster a high-performance culture.
Record, analyse and report to BU Management on activities, trends, results, and recommendations relating to the sector of activity for continuous improvement.
Ensure a timely execution of the respective strategies and initiatives.
Comply with all relevant laws, codes, rules, regulations, procedures, and standards of best working practice to minimize financial loss and protect the good name and reputation of the Group.
Regularly assess client's operations and debtor's management process to ensure eligibility to GTS offerings.
Review analysis of claims to ensure all aspects have been considered and are in alignment with terms and conditions prior discussion with Senior Product Leader.
Contribute to the achievement of the GTS' sales target to grow the operating margin.
Capitalize on analytics provided to explore business opportunities, take informed decisions, and recommend targeted solutions to enhance customer service and for business growth.
Provide input to the Senior Product Leader in respect of the performance of the section with respect to the forecast budget and take appropriate actions if required.
Identify and develop new opportunities to cross sell of the company products and services to existing and new clients.
Continuously promote and consolidate a positive working atmosphere to enhance employees' motivation, commitment for sustained high productivity.
Adhere & comply with the Training plan earmark to the GTS team.
Keep abreast of latest development and up to date with international best practice in a view to be innovative.
Personally live and display the company brand and values in all daily activities to uphold and further strengthen the company brand internally and externally.
what you need to know
Profile:
BSc in Financial Services (with major in International Trade) or equivalent professional qualifications in International Trade Finance.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Financial Services with at least 3 years in International Trade Operational role.
Experience at supervisory level would be an advantage.
Sound Knowledge IT: Core Banking System, Ms Office.
Understanding of the credit insurance market and contracts.
Knowledge of trade products and techniques.
Knowledge of Trade related ICC rules and regulations.
