Our client, in the investment sector is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant who will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities:
Keeping of accounting records in Quickbooks.
Cash reconciliation, provide weekly sources and uses of cash report to Founders.
Payment processing.
Expense claims reconciliation and allocation of costs between the company entities.
Preparation of monthly management accounts.
Tax reporting in UAE and Mauritius.
Budgeting and forecasting including financial modeling.
Managing relationship with banks, management company, service providers, client finance teams.
Working closely with client relationship team on reconciliation of dues from clients, allocation of costs, out of pocket expenses.
Overseeing client's accounts and the tax return submissions.
Ad hoc brainstorming on client's cases on tax, structuring matters.
what you need to know
Profiles:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Master's degree or professional certification (e.g, CMA, CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
Proven work experience in a similar role, preferably in consulting or financial services industry.
Proficient in financial management software and Microsoft office suite, especially advanced excel skills.
Experience working in Quick books is a plus.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting regulations, and financial analysis techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity and adherence to ethical standards.
