Our client is seeking to recruit a Senior Manager Communication who will report to the CEO. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of both internal and external communication strategies of the company. It will include managing external and internal communication channels like social media platforms, company websites, media relations, newsletters, emailers and content writing.


Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build brand awareness.
Create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related marketing and communications materials for the company.
Prepare detailed media activity reports and be on the lookout of any adverse media or reputational issue.
Plan, manage and support the design, content, and production of all marketing and communication materials.
Work with different marketing/communications departments to create marketing/communication strategies across entities to generate new ideas and strategies.
Supervise projects to guarantee all content is publication ready.
Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.
Perform outreach to press outlets, magazines, influencers and build strategic partnerships to grow brand notoriety.
Foster relationships with advocates and key persons.
Ensure that there is a proper internal communication strategy within the organisation.
Advise Group Head of Communication of developments throughout the organisation, either face to face or through regular written communication.

what you need to know


Master degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or relevant field.
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role.
Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
