Our client a modern and well established business, is seeking to recruit a Traning Manager who will report to the HR Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for all training and development activities of the company. He /She will be expected to create training events for all employees, from initial inductions to leadership programmes for senior executives.
Create training programmes that are aligned with the organisation's objectives and having a strong understanding of what these are.
Acting as the go to within the business for anyone with questions or queries regarding training and development plans.
Work closely with various Head of Departments and their delegates across the organisation and having a full understanding of their units and training requirements.
Embrace different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, learning library, tutorial sessions, job-shadowing, online training or coaching.
Having an awareness of the allocated budget and an ability to find solutions in order to implement the required training;
Develop effective induction programmes for new staff, apprentices, interns and trainees.
Building relationships with 3rd party training providers.
Devise a training strategy for the organisation.
Manage the development of the HR team from a training perspective.
Design staple curriculums for all employees (i.e. values).
Perform job analysis to determine training needs.
Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers.
Manage the workings of the training committee.
Assist managers develop their team members through career pathing.
Prepare and constantly update ''learning Manual as per the company's need.
Evaluate individual and organizational development needs.
Conduct training need analysis and implementing findings thereof.
Devise individual learning plans.
Delivering bespoke training.
Evaluation of training effectiveness.
Align training with succession plan of the company.
Keeping record of training and producing same when needed.
Prepare monthly training reports.
Ensure that statutory training requirements and training procedure are met.
Get training courses approved by MQA.
Applying for refund of training to the HRDC and ensuring refund is obtained within reasonable delay.
what you need to know
Degree in Human Resources Management with Specialization in learning and Development.
Relevant experiences include but not limited to:
E-learning course design, budget management, Management, development and talent training.
Designing and supplying a variety of training styles.
Building relationships with external suppliers.
Good communication skills.
Excellent IT skills (word, Excel Power point).
Confident in both written and spoken communication with the ability to present to large audiences.
Keen to assist people with their learning and development.
Living in the vicinity of Ferney or Mahebourg.
