Our Client, a dynamic, modern and well established business is seeking to recruit a Training Manager who will report to the HR Manager. He/She will be responsible for all the training and development activities within the company. He/She will be expected to create training events for all employees, from initial inductions to leadership programmes for senior executives.


Create training programmes that are aligned with the organisation's objectives and having a strong understanding of what these are;
Act as the go to within the business for anyone with questions or queries regarding training and development plans;
Work closely with various Head of Departments and their delegates across the organisation and having a full understanding of their units and training requirements;
Embrace different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, learning library, tutorial sessions, job-shadowing, online training or coaching;
Aware of the allocated budget and an ability to find solutions in order to implement the required training;
Develop effective induction programmes for new staff, apprentices, interns and trainees;
Build relationships with 3rd party training providers;
Devise a training strategy for the organisation;
Manage the development of the HR team from a training perspective;
Design staple curriculums for all employees (i.e. values);
Perform job analysis to determine training needs;
Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers;
Manage the workings of the training committee;
Assist managers develop their team members through career pathing;
Prepare and constantly update the ''learning Manual";
Evaluate individual and organizational development needs;
Conduct training need analysis and implement findings thereof;
Devise individual learning plans;
Deliver bespoke training;
Evaluation of training effectiveness;
Align training with succession plan of the company;
Keep record of training and produce same when needed;
Prepare monthly training reports;
Ensure that statutory training requirements and training procedure are met;
Get training courses approved by MQA;
Apply for refund of training to the HRDC and ensure refund is obtained within reasonable delay.

Degree in HRM
Specialization in learning and Development.

Good communication skills;
Organisational skills;
Interpersonal skills;
Excellent IT skills (word, Excel Power point)
Confident in both written and spoken communication with the ability to present to large audiences
Keen to assist people with their learning and development;
E-learning course design;
Budget management;
Management, development and talent training;
Designing and supplying a variety of training styles;
Building relationships with external suppliers;
Managing budgets.
