Our client is seeking to recruit a Human Resources Officer who will be responsible for supporting the HR department in managing the full spectrum of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who can handle various HR tasks and contribute to creating a positive and productive workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing employment contracts, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth integration into the organization.
Assist in addressing employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions in line with company policies and labor laws.
Promote a positive work environment by supporting employee engagement initiatives and resolving workplace conflicts.
Coordinate performance appraisal processes, including scheduling, communication, and documentation.
Support managers and employees in setting performance goals and providing feedback.
Identify training needs and assist in organizing training programs for employees.
Maintain training records and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, employment history, and attendance.
Prepare and process HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, letters, and reports.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and data protection regulations.
Assist in the administration of payroll, benefits, and employee compensation programs.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Prepare and submit reports related to HR activities, including turnover, absenteeism, and workforce demographics.
what you need to know
Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
Proven experience as an HR Officer, HR Assistant, or in a similar role.
Familiarity with HR software (e.g., HRIS, ATS) and MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
