Our client, a law firm is seeking to recruit a dynamic Corporate Insolvency Coordinator who will report to the Partner. The incumbent will provide essential support in managing insolvency appointments, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and assisting with administrative and reporting tasks.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, public notices and other documentation related to insolvency cases.
Maintain accurate records of receipts, payments, and financial transactions.
Prepare liquidation, administration, and receivership reports, including receipts and payments.
Liaise with creditors, debtors and stakeholders to facilitate communication and case management.
Attend to filing of necessary documentation with regulatory authorities and/ or courts.
Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and draft minutes for insolvency proceedings.
Manage assignment files and update databases with relevant insolvency information.
Conduct preliminary research on insolvency laws and procedures (in relation to administrative and non-contentious matters only).
Handle telephone inquiries and provide administrative support to the insolvency practitioner.
Attend to court to represent the insolvency practitioner in relation to court cases that are not personal to the insolvency practitioner.
Attend to site visits in relation to the sale of assets.

what you need to know

Profile:

Bachelor Degree.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with financial data and maintain confidentiality.
Knowledge of insolvency procedures and corporate restructuring (prefered but not mandatory).
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
