Our client in the distribution sector is seeking to recruit a Sales Officer.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring excellent customer service.
Promote and sell the company's range of electrical products to existing and potential customers.
Prepare, present, and follow up on quotations.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Negotiate and close sales deals effectively.
Provide after-sales support and maintain long-term customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support sales strategies.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
Consistently achieve sales targets set by management.

what you need to know

Profile:

Proven sales experience.
Experience in the electrical or technical goods industry is an advantage).
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Outgoing, confident, and results-oriented personality.
Self-motivated with a proactive "can-do" attitude.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
Valid driver's license will be considered an asset.
Certificate of Character required.
