Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking to recruit an Accounts Officer who will report to the Accounts Manager. The incumbent will assist the Accounts Manager in managing the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the finance team in reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Maintain the filing system for financial documents.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for financial processes.

what you need to know

Profile:

ACCA Level 2 (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
