Our client is seeking to recruit a dynamic Human Capital Manager who will be responsible for leading and strengthening the organisation's human capital strategy, people's processes, and culture transformation agenda. The role requires a hands-on, autonomous professional with strong strategic insight and operational excellence, capable of building a scalable HR function that supports business transformation and long-term growth.
This position is designed as a growth role, with the potential to evolve into Head of HR as the organisation matures.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Development & People Growth
Design and implement talent development initiatives aligned with business and transformation objectives.
Support leadership in identifying, developing, and retaining key talent.
Build career development frameworks and succession planning processes.
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Management
Lead and continuously improve the onboarding experience to ensure effective integration of new hires.
Manage the full employee lifecycle, ensuring consistency and compliance at all stages.
Standardisation of People Processes
Develop, document, and standardise HR policies, procedures, and people processes across the organisation.
Ensure alignment with best practices, statutory requirements, and internal governance.
Payroll & Remuneration
Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Execute remuneration processes, including salary reviews, benefits administration, and incentives.
Act as the key liaison with external payroll and HR partners within the group.
Knowledge of Sicorax payroll system will be considered a strong advantage.
Statutory & Compliance Responsibilities
Ensure timely filing and management of all statutory HR-related documents and returns.
Maintain compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
Culture & Transformation Leadership
Act as a key driver of culture change in line with the organisation's transformation agenda.
Promote company values, engagement initiatives, and change management efforts.
Partner closely with leadership to embed a high-performance, people-centric culture.
Health & Safety Oversight
Provide oversight and governance for the Health and Safety function.
Ensure Health and Safety practices align with statutory requirements and organisational standards.
Key Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary HR contact person for the group and other external partners.
Collaborate with senior leadership and shared services teams to support transformation initiatives.
what you need to know
Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in a senior HR, Human Capital, or People Management role.
Strong exposure to payroll management, remuneration execution, and statutory compliance.
Experience in driving organisational culture change and transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of Sicorax payroll system is an advantage.
