Our client, DTOS Ltd (DTOS), a leading Mauritian Management Company, is looking to appoint a Managing Director to lead the business through its next phase of growth, transformation, and market leadership. This is a high-impact opportunity for a commercially astute and visionary executive to shape strategy at Board and enterprise level while driving performance, innovation, and long-term value creation.

The Managing Director (MD) will lead the operations of the Management Company. The role represents a pivotal leadership position within our company, designed to steer the next phase of growth and operational maturity. The MD will assume full P&L responsibility, ensuring the delivery of high value added corporate and fund administration services to a sophisticated international client base.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership
Contribute to defining and executing the strategic direction of the management company in alignment with the Group's vision and objectives.
Identify growth opportunities, market positioning, and service expansion initiatives.
Ensure alignment and collaboration across the Group to maximise Group performance.

2. Financial Performance
Drive financial performance of the management company, ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and EBITDA targets.
Monitor financial metrics, budgets, and cost structures.
Optimise financial efficiency and ensure sustainable financial growth.

3. Business Growth & Market Development
Lead business development initiatives and expansion strategies.
Strengthening relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities.
Contribute to market positioning and expansion of services.

4. Operational Excellence
Ensure efficient and streamlined operational processes across the Company.
Implement best practices to maximise productivity, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
Oversee performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

5. Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure the Company operates within applicable regulatory frameworks and governance standards.
Oversee risk management processes and ensure strong internal controls.
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

6. People Leadership & Culture
Foster a high-performance culture aligned with the organisation's values.
Promote employee engagement, talent retention, and leadership development.
Build strong teams and support professional growth within the Company.

7. Client Service & Relationship Management
Ensure delivery of high-quality services and strong client satisfaction.
Monitor client feedback and Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
Strengthen long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

8. Branding & Thought Leadership
Contribute to strengthening the Company's brand and market visibility.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and professional forums.
Position the Company as a recognized thought leader in its sector.

9. Innovation & Transformation
Drive innovation initiatives and continuous transformation across the Company.
Encourage adoption of innovative technologies, tools, and service models.
Lead change initiatives that enhance competitiveness and service quality.

10. Cross Collaboration
Promote collaboration across the Group's functions.
Align initiatives and coordinate joint efforts to maximise overall Group performance.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and synergies across business units.


what you need to know

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in law, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics from a recognized university OR Professional Qualification as Qualified Chartered Secretary (ICSA / CGI) , Certified Accountant (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA) , Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP / STEP) , Admitted Attorney / Solicitor.
Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.

Skills and Other Pre-requisites:
A minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior leadership role within the Financial Services sector or any other relevant sector.
Proven experience holding board positions on client entities or internal subsidiary boards.
Demonstrable track record of managing a P&L.
International exposure or experience working within a global matrix organization is preferred.
Good understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to the Financial Services Sector.
Fluency in English and French (Written and Spoken) is mandatory.
