Our client is seeking to recruit an HR Coordinator who will play a key role in coordinating and overseeing core HR operations across the company. This position ensures the effective execution of recruitment, employee relations, training coordination, payroll inputs, and compliance activities.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Workforce Coordination
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for crew members, shift managers, and support roles.
Liaise with restaurant managers to understand staffing needs and manpower planning.
Oversee interview scheduling, selection documentation, and onboarding processes.
Monitor recruitment timelines and ensure staffing targets are met.
Maintain and analyze recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, attrition trends).
Employee Relations & HR Advisory
Act as the primary HR contact for restaurant managers and employees for day-to-day HR matters.
Support the HR Manager in handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Guide managers on HR policies, procedures, and labor law compliance.
Assist in investigations and prepare documentation for disciplinary hearings.
Attendance, Payroll & HR Operations
Coordinate attendance, overtime, leave, and roster data across restaurants.
Review and validate payroll inputs before submission.
Resolve complex attendance or payroll discrepancies in collaboration with managers.
Monitor absenteeism and turnover trends and propose corrective actions.
Training & Development Coordination
Coordinate mandatory and operational training programs (food safety, customer service, health & safety).
Track training compliance and certification validity.
Support performance review cycles and training needs analysis.
Liaise with internal and external training providers as required.
HR Compliance & Reporting
Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and the company standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
Prepare and analyze HR reports (headcount, recruitment, attrition, absenteeism, training).
Support HR audits and inspections.
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
Coordinate HR initiatives such as employee engagement programs, policy updates, and process improvements.
Support change management initiatives across restaurants.
Provide recommendations to improve HR efficiency and employee experience.
HR Reporting & Support
Prepare basic HR reports (headcount, recruitment status, absenteeism).
Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager.
what you need to know
Profile:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in QSR, retail, or hospitality.
Experience coordinating recruitment, payroll inputs, and employee relations.
Knowledge of local labour laws and HR best practices.
Experience working across multiple locations is an advantage.
Strong coordination, planning, and organizational skills.
Good knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and labour laws.
Ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters professionally.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR information systems
