Our client in the retail sector is seeking to recruit an Assistant Stock and Production Controller.
Responsibilities:
Physical inventory at Head office for the company's products.
Physical inventory at 23 stores on a continuous basis.
Reporting in writing to supervisor regarding the physical counts.
Inputting inventory adjustments on stock software.
Analysis of reports output of stock software.
Transfer of goods between manufacturing and retail company : to check completeness and accuracy of goods received by the company (goods received note).
Daily control on production (ingredients content; usage and investigation of variances where appropriate).
what you need to know
Profile:
Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management; Logistics and Operations Management.
1 to 3 years' experience in Stock control and inventory management
Demonstrate experience of stock management and physical counts.
Clear understanding of stock software.
Intermediate level on Excel which can be demonstrated.
Disciplined person who is thorough and keeps evidence of work done.
Investigative and critical eyes on processes, findings in warehouses and stores.
Strict on presence at opening and flexibility if required when performing counts in locations outside Port Louis.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
