Our client, a management company is currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Officer who will report to the Chief Accountant.

Responsibilities:

Perform accounts payable tasks-cheques, transfer instructions, bank draft, prepare SOGS, etc.
Update of cash book and expenses analysis on a weekly basis.
Preparation of billings and of statement of account.
Follow up in collection of debtors.
Cheque deposits.
Attend to FSC payments, ROC payments and filing and distribution of FSC/ROC receipts.
Maintain Fixed Asset Register/stocktake attendance.
General administration work.
Attend to queries from administrators.
Assist in implementing internal control in finance and operation department.
Attend to filing of financial statements on FSC platform upon request from administrators.
Perform any other relevant duties.
Provide solutions to any issues.
Coordinate and communicate with the team.

what you need to know

Profile:

University degree in accounting or equivalent.
ACCA - partly qualified.
Minimum 3 years of work experience in accounting, auditing and taxation.
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
QuickBooks knowledge.
Microsoft Office skill.
Communication skill -verbal & written.
Organisational skill & Time management.
Attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Team player and ability to work independently as well.
