Our client in the mechanical engineering sector is seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant who will report to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all accounting entries have been done correctly and in a timely manner.
Posting journal and keep General Ledger up to date.
Process all bank transactions and bank reconciliation.
Provide accurate, timely and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis financial information.
Assist in the preparation of annual financial statement, monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
Organise and perform yearly stock take figures.
Maintain and update fixed asset register.
Assist in the preparation and submission of returns (TDS, VAT, APS CTX, etc).
Assist the Finance Manager in day to day tasks.
what you need to know
Profile:
ACCA partly.
Minimum 4 years' experience in similar position.
Good knowledge of IAS/IFRS.
Proficiency in Microsoft excel and Microsoft word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Dynamic, proactive, and reliable.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Attention to details and accuracy.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work in teams and handle pressure.
