Our client is seeking to recruit for a talented Category Manager to join its dynamic Consumer Health Team to continuously elevate its brand to new heights.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement long term plans and strategies for the growth and success of assigned portfolios.
Responsible for building and implement Brand Plans to achieve sales, profitability and growth objectives and ensure the profitable development of the assigned brands.
Conduct market research, analyse data to determine market requirements and maintain a continuous observation and monitoring of the market to remain competitive in the consumer market.
Development and implement business plans for assigned portfolio of products and manage budget for advertising & promotion.
Develop sales forecast, monitor sales performance and collaborate closely with Supply Chain to always ensure appropriate stock level.
Foster fruitful relationships with suppliers & business partners to improve on product offer and business profitability.
Prepare and conduct business reviews with principals and internal & external stakeholders.
Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
what you need to know
Profile:
Degree in Marketing or any other equivalent qualification; preferably with an MBA.
At least 5 years experience in a Category / Brand Management position.
Experience in the pharmaceutical/consumer health sector will constitute an advantage.
Result oriented with excellent analytical, communication & interpersonal skills.
Strategic Thinker and problem-solving abilities.
Performance driven with excellent planning and organizational skills.
Holder of a clean driving license.
