Our client, a leading and diversified Mauritian company in the alcoholic beverage and spirits sector, is an influential force within the country's beverage industry. As they embark on a transformative phase focused on reinforcing their market position and driving sustained growth, the Board of Directors is seeking to recruit an exceptional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to guide the Group into its next chapter.

The CEO, reporting directly to the Board of Directors, will provide visionary leadership, shape strategic direction, and oversee the operational management of the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring continued excellence and innovation throughout our organization.

The CEO Key Responsibilities:

Lead the formulation and implementation of the Group's strategic plan.
Identify opportunities for growth, diversification, and long-term value creation.
Ensure alignment between the corporate strategy and the business strategies of" each subsidiary.
Oversee the operational performance of all Group entities involved in production, blending, bottling, importation, and distribution.
Drive operational efficiency across manufacturing, logistics, and distribution networks.
Strengthening financial performance and profitability across business units.
Develop the Group's position within the local and international alcoholic beverage Industry.
Strengthen relationships with international suppliers, brand owners, and distribution partners.
Ensure the Group operates in full compliance with all regulatory frameworks governing the production, importation, distribution, and sale of alcoholic beverages.
Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and key stakeholders.
Implement robust governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
Build and lead a high-performing executive leadership team.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
Ensure effective communication and alignment across all entities of the Group.

what you need to know

Profile:

Bachelor's degree in either Business Administration, Management, Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Food Science) , Finance or Economics.
A master's degree in marketing or equivalent.
Additional executive education or professional certifications will be considered an advantage.
Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience, including significant experience at executive management level.
Experience within alcoholic beverages, spirits, wine, FMCG, or consumer goods sectors will be highly desirable.
Proven experience managing multi-entity or multi-business organisations.
Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen in addition to having an international outlook.
Ability to identify and develop diversification opportunities beyond the Group's current activities.
C-Suite experience will be an advantage as well as a sound knowledge of corporate law.

An attractive executive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
