Our client is seeking to recruit a skilled and experienced Draughtsman to join their Office Furniture department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical shop drawings for a wide range of bespoke and production furniture pieces. The candidate will report to the Head of Office Furniture.
Responsibilities:
Creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software/ SketchUp .
Producing accurate technical drawings from sketches and design concepts.
Collaborating with designers and production teams to ensure designs are feasible to manufacture.
Maintaining accurate drawing records and files.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
what you need to know
Profile:
Diploma in Draughtsmanship/ Interior Design/AutoCad
Proven experience as a Draughtsman in the wooden furniture industry.
Proficiency in operating CAD software.
Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and meet tight deadlines.
