Our client, in the manufacturing sector is seeking to recruit a Financial Accountant in the Finance Department.

Responsibilities
Prepare monthly reconciliations of Inter-Company Ledgers.
Review of Supplier Credit Applications.
Prepare Supplier Reconciliations for month-end payment.
Petty Cash Control.
Assist with submissions of documents to Bankers (Foreign Transactions) and keep track of discrepancies and differences.
Prepare Payment Packs.
Prepare VAT reconciliations and submitting VAT returns.
Prepare TDS reconciliations and submitting TDS returns.
Prepare monthly Management Accounts.
Insurance Claims
Manage the Month-End roll-over process.
Assist with Asset Management.
Assist with supplier and customer journals.
Process of credit notes.
Foreign cash applications for travelling.
Prepare monthly payroll and submitting payroll taxes to authorities.
Prepare annual income tax calculation.
Process with online payments.
Manage the finance/commercial functions.
Implement and maintain internal controls.
Cash Flow Management.
Arrange Annual Financial Statements preparation and assist with external audits.
Liaise with external stakeholders and maintain good relationships.
Ad-hoc financial tasks.

what you need to know

Profile
Suitable tertiary finance qualification from a reputable institution as well as completed articles.
Minimum 5 years' experience working in a finance environment.
Familiar with accounting software.
Excellent Excel skills.
Good communication skills.
Own transport.
Willing to work overtime if and when needed.
Accurate, efficient and deadline driven.
