Our client incorporated in 1956, is a leader in commercialisation of medical equipment and pharmaceutical products. The company is seeking to recruit a talented and experienced Head of Sales to lead and meet the annual sales targets for the laboratory department.
Lead and motivate the laboratory team with an objective to improve customer service with clients.
Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets.
Assist the Laboratory team in the development of the sales plan.
Prepare forecasts and KPI reporting for the department; assist the department in the budget setting.
Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.
Develop and promote weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives.
Submit detailed and accurate sales reports to management on a weekly basis.
Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
Conduct competitive analysis and devise strategies to beat the competition.
Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products.
Establish a sales training program to train new employees and actual team.
Meet with the Management to assess the department's performance.
Work collaboratively across teams, including the after sales and finance department when working big and complex projects.
Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key suppliers.
what you need to know
Degree in science (Chemistry and Biotechnology), Engineering or equivalent qualification.
10+ years of experience in sales preference in industrial laboratory.
Self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in Sales.
Having a solid understanding of the laboratory devices, including trends, technologies, products and players.
Proven business analysis and judgement with the ability to proactively manage the Lab sales team to meet deadline.
Strong negotiation skills and wide network.
Excellent leadership skills.
