Our client in the distribution sector is seeking to recruit a Logistics Officer.
Responsibilities:
Drive and operate company vehicles including car, motorcycle, truck, and forklift.
Ensure on-time and safe delivery of goods to clients and project sites.
Assist with loading, unloading, and handling inventory in the warehouse.
Coordinate with the sales and warehouse teams to meet delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any delays or issues.
Keep vehicles clean, serviced, and in safe working condition.
Follow all safety, road, and logistics compliance regulations.
Support the warehouse team with stock movement and dispatch operations.
what you need to know
Profile:
Minimum 3 years proven driving and delivery experience.
Valid driving license for car, motorcycle, and truck (forklift certification an advantage).
Strong, physically fit, and capable of handling manual goods movement.
Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious.
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
Certificate of Character compulsory.
