Our client is seeking to recruit for the post of Maintenance Technician who will report to the Maintenance Manager. The incumbent will ensure installations, machinery and equipment are in good working conditions. Building and property must be properly maintained.
Responsibilities:
Perform inspection and maintenance work on all equipment and machinery (Mainly hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing and building maintenance).
Perform installation, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment (Mainly hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing).
Plan and perform preventive maintenance.
Maintain adequate housekeeping and cleaning of work areas and equipment.
Abide to the Safety & Health policies.
Any other cognate duties as may be assigned.
Comply with employment guidance contained in the company's employee handbook.
Comply with the company's Code of Ethics and the other Policies.
Comply with Safety and Health requirements prevailing on the premises and guiding principles of all certifications obtained.
Carry out all tasks by minimizing or eliminating any adverse impact to the environment whenever possible.
what you need to know
Profiles:
Skills required: Plumbing, electrical, welding and general maintenance.
Training will be provided by the maintenance manager for the maintenance/repairs of the machinery.
Candidate must be serious, motivated and prepared to work off hours.
