Our client is seeking to recruit a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Dispenser to join its team. The role involves dispensing prescription medications, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the pharmacist in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescription medications as per the pharmacist's instructions.
Provide clear and professional advice to customers regarding over the counter (OTC) medications and health products.
Ensure prescriptions are properly labelled and packaged.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and transactions.
Assist in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and checking for expired medications.
Process payments and handle customer queries in a courteous manner.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and pharmacy standards.
Support the pharmacist in administrative and operational tasks.

what you need to know

Profile:

Diploma or certification in pharmacy dispensing or a related field is required.
Registration with the relevant pharmacy regulatory body is preferred.
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and medical terminology.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems is an advantage.
Relevant certification or qualification in pharmacy dispensing is a plus.
