Our client in the financial sector is looking to recruit a Project Assistant to handle claims/underwriting/Premium Management functions in its operations. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of insurance processes, accuracy in handling data, and the ability to work effectively within a team-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Underwrite proposals in line with established underwriting principles and guidelines.
Ensure timely and accurate on-boarding of individual profiles and policies and maintaining insured details on the system.
Assess claims documentation for a comprehensive appraisal of risks.
Assess claims intimated for admissibility and eligibility as per contractual obligations.
Liaise with service providers as may be applicable in respect of benefit eligibility.
Calculate premium refunds, adjustments and reversals as required, substantiated with documented evidence.
Adhere to legal requirements and industry regulations.

what you need to know

Profile:

Higher School Certificate (HSC) with a minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
Certificate CII or degree in Insurance, Business Management or Finance would be an advantage.
Proactive, dynamic & result oriented.
Ability to meet operational targets.
Team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills (Oral/written).
Proficient in MS Office/specialized software.
