Our client in the food sector is seeking to recruit a Sales Coordinator to support the sales team to ensure the smooth execution of sales operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Tasks:
Prepare sales-related documents which includes, but not limited to, quotes, proposals, and contracts.
Managing schedules and setting up appointments for sales meetings.
Preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for the sales team or management.
Customer Support:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely manner.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Handle customer complaints and concerns, directing them to the appropriate team if needed, and ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and effectively resolved.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
Present, promote, and sell the company's products/services to existing and potential customers.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
Assisting in market research to identify sales trends and customer preferences.
Gather customer feedback and relaying it to the sales teams to refine offerings.
Sales Team Coordination:
Ensure the sales team has the necessary tools, resources, and information to perform their roles effectively.
Manage leads and assign them to the appropriate sales representatives.
Monitoring sales targets, monitor debtor collections and to provide regular updates to the team.
Conveying and ensure that all instructions from the Head of Sales are followed.
Any cognate duties that may be assigned by Management.
what you need to know
Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field desirable.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Holder of a valid driving licence prefered.
