Our client in the sales sector is seeking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager who will report to the Chief Operating Officer. The Senior Finance Manager is a senior management role overseeing all aspects of the organization's accounting and financial operations, and ensuring strong organization business planning, close performance review, and adoption of risk-based approach that contribute to the overall organization's financial health and resilience, essential for the organization growth and resilience. This job position encompasses guiding key investment decisions and shaping policies to foster sustainable growth. The responsibility of overseeing the statutory and legal aspects of the organization is entrusted to the Senior Finance Manager. The Senior Finance Manager is called to act as a strategic business partner, providing critical financial insights that drive the company's long-term success and better decision making.
Responsibilities:
Leading and mentoring the finance teams, providing guidance, training and shaping the development and succession planning of a motivated and collaborative finance teams.
Ensuring that all the company's financial and business practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
Responsible for the corporate governance and corporate finance aspects like capital structuring, investment decisions, and long-term financial planning; ensuring that the company's financial policies and strategies support business growth and shareholder value.
Championing Digitization and automation of processes; embracing relevant technological advancement to build leaner and more resilient system and processes.
Their role is to optimize the financial performance of the organization and ensure cohesive financial strategies across the different business units.
Work in close collaboration with senior management team to support sales with appropriate pricing strategies and assist HR in compensation planning.
Managing relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
Directing the budgeting, forecasting, and business planning process.
Ensure that a robust and cohesive internal control system is in place across the organization that is aligned to business goals.
Develop Risk Mitigating strategies and policies and oversee their implementation to protect the assets and financial stability of the organization; identify and manage financial risks and adopt a proactive risk-based approach to business risks and business continuity.
Ensuring timely filing and compliance of all tax and any other statutory returns; Responsible for Tax planning, legal & compliance and tax affairs of the organization.

what you need to know
Profile:
Qualified accountant ACCA, CA, CIMA, CPA or any equivalent qualifications.
Holder of an MBA would be of an advantage.
Prior Experience in a similar role with a minimum of 12 years working experience and at least 5 years at senior managerial level.
Strong ability to act as a business partner in delivering better decision support and enabling strategic initiatives which help to improve the organization's financial performance.
Ethical, adaptable, action oriented and well-organized.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen.
Strategic and Critical Mindset, ability to remain calm under pressure.
