Our client in the management sector is seeking to recruit a Senior Manager to Support the CEO in driving strategic, financial, and operational initiatives across the Group.
The role is execution-focused: ensuring projects and transactions are delivered to completion, with clear outcomes and measurable impact.
Responsibilities:
Corporate Finance & Strategy:
Assess opportunities for acquisitions, partnerships, and new business development.
Review financial models, valuations, and feasibility studies.
Coordinate due diligence and manage execution of corporate finance transactions.
Prepare Board level presentations and investment cases to support strategic decisions.
Strategic & Business Projects:
Lead priority initiatives such as the launch of new service lines, or cross-Group projects.
Translate strategic decisions into clear workplans with defined deliverables and timelines.
Develop and implement policies and processes for internal initiatives, ensuring they are properly adopted across the Group.
Financial Workstreams (with Finance Team):
Partner with the finance team on holding company budgeting, billing, cost recharges, and consolidation.
Monitor and report on the financial performance of business units, highlighting risks and recommending corrective actions.
AI & Innovation Initiatives:
Support in driving the Group's AI agenda by managing the roll-out of AI applications in business units.
Identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, client service, and business development.
Ensure AI initiatives are properly resourced, tracked, and translated into tangible business outcomes.
Facilitate alignment across the Group on AI adoption, while consolidating insights and progress for the CEO and Directors.
Stakeholder Management & Liaison:
Act as the primary liaison between the CEO and business units, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and follow-up.
Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring decisions are well communicated and execution responsibilities are understood.
Execution & Delivery:
Ensure projects and initiatives move forward on schedule and are completed.
Provide concise, structured updates to the CEO, highlighting issues, risks and clear recommendations for decision-making.
Collaboration & Team Development:
Work collaboratively with central teams (Project Management, Research & Analysis, Finance) to deliver group priorities.
Provide guidance to junior colleagues on financial analysis and project delivery.
what you need to know
Profile:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
Professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, CFA, MBA) preferred.
At least 5 to 7 years in corporate finance, management consulting, or financial planning & analysis.
Big Four or international experience preferred.
Strong financial modelling, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to deliver complex project.
Executive-level communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Experience or strong interest in AI/digital transformation will be an advantage.
